Camp Soapbox

Ok folks,

Camp Soapbox counselor here.

Just want to do a quick introduction, because I’m going to be doing some voice blogs on here for We The Truckers, and they’ll span a whole lot of different topics. This first one is written instead of spoken. Everything after this, you’ll be hearing in my own voice.

My name is JR Elrod. I own BAR Transportation out of Texas, and I write the Frozen Freight series.

Both books are going to be out on audio. Book 1 should be out sometime end of August, first part of September, and immediately after that we go into recording book 2.

Now that that’s out of the way.

I’ve been on the road over 30 years, and I’ve owned my own company pretty much the whole time.

I know a little bit about everything and nothing about anything.

If you don’t like what I’m talking about one day, come back next time and you’ll probably enjoy it. I talk straight from the heart and straight off the top of my head. And if you don’t like cuss words, my advice is don’t listen to me, because I’m a truck driver and ex-military and I’ve got a potty mouth.
