Ok folks, this is your camp counselor again.

At the beginning of the month I published a series of articles on LinkedIn and Facebook. Short reads, three to seven minutes most of them, and they carry some real history about this country and about the trucking industry that built it. If you read them on the other platform, read them again. You might have missed something.

There are 21 written so far and I am still working on the rest. It is going to take a bit, because I am also trying to finish Book 2 of the Frozen Freight series. So here is the plan. One article a week, every Friday. By the time I get to number 21, I should have the remainder finished.

Now, credit where it is owed. I had started this series before I heard about Todd Daum and his book From Horses to Diesel Trucks. I am about a quarter of the way through it and I have to tell you, it is a wonderful book. If you like history, go grab it on Amazon. Paperback only.

These days we get bombarded with a lot of false information about our industry. What I put out is the truth, the same as Todd and the same as Charles Thomas Claburn with Iron Miles . Those two are the experts in this field. Compared to them I am still in middle school. But I am trying, so bear with me while I get this information out.

If the articles land with you, follow along. JR Elrod Author on Facebook, JR Elrod on LinkedIn. You will know the minute anything new drops.

And while I have your attention — Frozen Freight: Iron Reach is on Amazon in paperback and ebook. The audiobook is coming this fall and I will holler when it is ready.

If you have already read my book please if you have not reviewed it yet i would appreciate a star rating or maybe a line or 2. your choice.

That is enough out of me. Go enjoy your weekend.

I know i am shameless with all the plugs but i warned you

End of transmissions.
